:winter:
Every June
I miss the sweet, peppermint taste
the sky magnetized to the moon
frozen, biting winds spurring on the haste
yet accentuating the radiated warmth inside.
And the gloss of wet roads
the comfort of goose-down-blanket hide
when the quiet whispering wind quietly bodes
the silence of a world outside; all my own
the glittering, life inside of light
the unspoken love and childhood loan
the sweet November night.
